In the event that the water supply for the town's water system is reduced by a drought
or other water shortage or an emergency, the town manager shall implement conservation
measures for a selected portion, or all, of the town's water consumer groups by direct
contact by telephone, written communications or other means with customers or by distribution
and publication through local media, which shall include newspapers, radio, television
or town information sites. The town manager shall report to the town council any conservation
activities implemented at the next council meeting.
